About

Image by Paula Puffer PhotographyMaryBeth Davison Smith, MM, GCFP,  brings her personal experience and years of training as a performing artist, teacher, Feldenkrais® Practitioner, and advocate of whole-foods plant-based living, to her work with diverse individuals and groups.
She is the Founder and Director of the Feldenkrais Center of Houston, a private practice in movement and lifestyle education. Her concern for a loved one with lifelong insomnia led her to study the Sounder Sleep System®  to explore the neurological and physiological basis of sleep and  mindfulness-based techniques to resolve  this dangerous health issue. In 2012-2013, she embarked on a journey to address her own overall health by adopting a whole-foods, plant-based diet. She brings her love of cooking and eating fine food to her clients who seek lifestyle change. Come to think of it, she loves to move and sleep, too.
She says: “This site grew out of a desire to communicate directly and clearly with my clients: past, present, and future.
Everyone would like for life to be a little bit better – or perhaps, a lot better.
I wanted to address the basics of life: moving, sleeping, eating. Any problem in life is going to show up in one of those domains, eventually.
Through classes, workshops, speaking, events, and private consultations, you can finally begin to get a handle on some of life’s recurring problems.”
Explore the site, then contact us.  In no time, you’ll be on your way to the lifestyle you want.
